If only you of the neurotypical persuasion could ever understand that we Aspergians have feelings too...and it hurts us just as much when somebody steps on them. Asperger Syndrome is a hereditary neurological condition, not an "attitude problem" or a "behavior" problem. While we may occasionally appear to be inconsiderate, insensitive, and/or downright rude, we never mean any such offense towards you. Such misunderstandings have resulted in social rejection, physical violence, and/or police involvement. I've also lost jobs, friendships, and even relationships as a result.
I have something more to say to the ladies. If you actually take the time to get to know me for who and what I am, you'll see that I'm actually not the "creep" or "monster" that some of you may have made me out to be. I'M MORE AFRAID OF YOU THAN YOU ARE OF ME!
UNLESS YOU HAVE WALKED A FEW KILOMETERS IN MY SHOES, WHAT RIGHT HAVE ANY OF YOU TO JUDGE ME?!?
